  • Therapy

Creating meaningful connections with yourself and/or your loved one/s.

At our practice, we believe that true healing and growth come from building meaningful, authentic connections—whether emotionally, physically, or in any area of life where you seek balance and fulfilment. Present Experience’s therapy services are designed to support individuals and couples in navigating the complexities of life and relationships, offering a safe, compassionate space for you to explore, understand, and strengthen your bonds with yourself and others.

Through thoughtful, personalised counselling, we address challenges like self-love, communication, intimacy, and emotional well-being, helping you foster deeper connections and live more fulfilling lives. Whether you're seeking to overcome obstacles or enhance your personal relationships, our approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and a commitment to your growth.

Please note: We currently have a small amount of availability with our wonderful therapist Nikki (she/her). She offers online sessions for general therapy, and also specialises in Nature Therapy, which is conducted via hour-long walking sessions in nature around Canberra. Sessions are $110.

Meet Nikki – Inclusive, Compassionate, and Real

Nikki is a warm, down-to-earth therapist who creates a safe and supportive space for people from all walks of life. As a proud member of and passionate advocate for the LGBTQAI+ community, Nikki brings deep lived experience, empathy, and understanding to her work—whether you’re exploring identity, navigating relationships, or just needing someone who gets it. She also welcomes and supports clients who aren’t part of the LGBTQAI+ community with the same care, respect, and openness.

Drawing on a wide range of therapeutic approaches—such as person-centred therapy, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Gestalt therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), and mindfulness-based strategies—Nikki tailors each session to what you need, at your pace. She works with individuals, couples, and people in non-traditional relationships, including those practicing or exploring polyamory, offering a nonjudgmental space to explore connection, communication, and complexity.

With Nikki, therapy is a place where you can show up fully, speak freely, and be met with genuine curiosity, care, and support.
